Senior Sales Manager
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Sales Manager to lead our Sales Account Executive team in the dynamic and fast-growing telematics space. This individual will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, coaching a team of Sales Account Executives (hunters), and building scalable sales processes that deliver consistent revenue growth.
As a critical member of the sales leadership team, you will report to the VP of Sales and play a key role in executing our GTM strategy, mentoring top talent, and helping us scale in the mid-market segment. You must bring deep SaaS sales experience, a strong leadership track record, and a passion for creating a high-performance sales culture.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of Sales Account Executives focused on outbound and inbound sales motion to close new logo sales
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies through pipeline management, and accurate forecasting
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, and provide regular reports to leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing reps to exceed quota
- Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning, encouraging AEs to challenge the status quo and improve their craft
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, Sales Enablement, and Product to drive continuous improvement and align on go-to-market strategy
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the telematics industry
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams that exceed quota
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the mid-market/enterprise segment and its unique challenges and opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
- Strategic thinker and problem solver
Base Salary: 120,000k/yr + commission
