Order Fulfillment & Device Configuration Associate
Zonar is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Order Fulfillment & Device Configuration Associate to join our Fulfillment Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate processing, configuration, assembly, and shipment of customer orders and returned products. This position also supports hands-on device preparation, including tablet setup, SIM card installation, device assembly, settings updates, and customer-specific configuration.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, has strong attention to detail, and is willing to learn and work across multiple systems, device platforms, and fulfillment tools. This role plays a key part in ensuring customers receive accurate, high-quality products on time while supporting inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and fulfill customer sales and RMA orders accurately and efficiently.
- Allocate products to the correct customer accounts and verify order completeness before shipment.
- Configure, assemble, and prepare products according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Support device setup, including inserting SIM cards, assembling devices, setting up tablets, updating device settings, and preparing touch-screen devices for shipment.
- Print and prepare driver ID cards and other customer-specific materials as needed.
- Work across multiple device platforms, email, fulfillment tools, ERP systems, and internal applications to process orders and support customer requirements.
- Use computers, tablets, and related technology to navigate systems, update records, process orders, and troubleshoot basic device or setup issues.
- Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy, completeness, device functionality, and product integrity.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory and order records, including basic tracking or reporting using Excel and other tools.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping deadlines and fulfillment goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to resolve order discrepancies and operational issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while following established safety protocols.
- Identify opportunities to improve fulfillment processes and operational efficiency.
- Perform additional warehouse and fulfillment duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, manufacturing, production, device configuration, or related operational role preferred.
- Comfortable working with tablets, touch-screen devices, basic hardware setup, and multiple technology platforms.
- Basic computer skills, including email, system navigation, data entry, and Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or a similar ERP system is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Working knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Willingness to learn new systems, tools, devices, and fulfillment processes.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry products, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- $18-$20/hr
