This position is remote but must be based in Colombia.

The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business by proactively selling Zonar’s services and solutions to customers across a variety of industries. This role focuses primarily on outbound prospecting to generate new opportunities, while also managing inbound leads provided by the marketing team.

Successful candidates use a consultative, customer-focused sales approach to consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through effective prospecting and opportunity management.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting using tools such as ZoomInfo and ProspeFleet, while leveraging existing Salesforce contacts for targeted outreach.
  • Manage and follow up on inbound marketing-generated leads in a timely and professional manner.
  • Clearly and compellingly communicate Zonar’s value proposition, tailoring messaging to address customer-specific business challenges.
  • Apply a consultative sales approach by asking thoughtful questions, actively listening, and positioning solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Conduct platform demonstrations for prospective customers, partnering with Solutions Engineers on larger or more complex opportunities.
  • Define and manage client expectations throughout the sales process, including timelines, stakeholders, decision criteria, and purchasing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, ensuring strong pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 2–3 years of relevant SaaS sales experience.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present confidently to prospects.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities.
  • Persistence and follow-through, with the ability to clearly define next steps and advance deals to close.
  • Creative, open-minded, and enthusiastic about solving customer challenges.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to build trust and credibility with customers.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to develop and maintain a long-term sales pipeline.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities when evaluating sales opportunities and customer needs.
